Resources To Support BLM Movement

The last few weeks have been eye-opening to say the least. On the 25th May, 2020, George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man, died in Minneapolis, Minnesota after white police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes while Floyd was handcuffed and lying face down on the street. This has quite rightly caused an outcry from communities across the world to clearly say ‘enough is enough’.

Here in the UK there have been a number of protests to support the Black Lives Matter movement. On Sunday 7th June there was a protest in Middlesrbough that many of us couldn’t attend. The team members who did said that is was a beautiful moment of solidarity. Many of us here at tiny feel that we haven’t been able to do enough due to many of us living with vulnerable people during the Covid-19 outbreak. So we have decided to put together a number of resources to help educate others. Some of the resources are our own and some are links to elsewhere (please note that they may become unavailable or change over time).

We stand in solidarity with our Black fiends, family and community to loudly say ‘Enough is Enough!’

Please share these resources with others. Use them to educate people, to combat racism wherever you see it, please stay safe and be vocal. Racism has absolutely no place in the future we are building. It is our job to challenge, educate and eradicate racism once and for all.
